Red-Dirt Ready Nike Claybreaker technology helps give you enhanced traction and less buildup on clay courts. Added grip in the forefoot and midfoot work with a wide traction pattern to help you slide with control. We used traction maps, pressure maps and analyzed clay buildup areas for the design. Then we tested it on red-clay courts in Europe in multiple clay-weather conditions (cold, warm, wet and dry). Low Cut for High Speeds This is design is lower to the court than our previous iteration, giving you incredible lightweight court feel for bursts of quick movements and cuts. Spring into Action A forefoot Air Zoom unit offers spring in your first step, helping you get to that return along the baseline or approach the net with suddenness. The cushioned midsole offers support without adding unnecessary weight. Lightweight Breathability Durable, reinforced mesh helps keep your feet cool and adds extra support. Outsole uses a data-informed design to create optimal grip without impacting your ability to slide. We removed rubber in low-wear areas to help keep weight at a minimum.
