A forefoot Zoom Air unit helps you play on your toes and puts a pop in your first step. A heel Zoom Air unit provides support.
Red-Dirt Ready
Nike Claybreaker technology helps give you enhanced traction and less buildup on clay courts. Added grip in the forefoot and midfoot work with a wide traction pattern to help you slide with control. We used traction maps, pressure maps and analyzed clay buildup areas for the design. Then we tested it on red-clay courts in Europe in multiple clay-weather conditions (cold, warm, wet and dry).
Durability for the Court
A strong midfoot plastic plate adds stability for quick cuts and power to your game when transferring energy from motion to motion. Webbing around the eyestays combined with the plate offer a sort of "hugged" containment when moving side-to-side. The heel is extra padded to keep you comfortable and supported.
